Three Letters of Thanks to Fr Chucks and the Fund for Educational Support
Among many received by Father Chucks earlier this year were these three letters of thanks for educational support from the Fund. They have been reproduced to show how much the support of Sean’s Fund means to those who receive this help. The Fund intends to help many more in the future as a good education can help all to improve their situations. They have been reproduced exactly as written.
Dear Fr. Chuks,
Thank you very much for saving my life. I would like to express my sincere than to you for given me the opportunity to enroll in the school. I am extremely excited about such a great opportunity. You have save my life for me. I am saying this because when I went home and was not able to get the school fees, I lost courage and said to myself “I have failed in life therefore I need to throw myself into the worldâ€. I there decided on going to Tema, from there whatever little amount that I will get I will travel outside the country to a destination where will return to my parents no more. In fact, Father, when I was thinking of these I was totally isolated fm reality. If I had stopped the schooling, my life would have being in a great risk because if I cast my mind back to my tender age, how I suffered in primary school and junior secondary school as well as senior secondary school then I do not know why I am on this earth.
When I called you on the phone and you told me to come, I was coming with the view to taking my laggaga away. All my hopes were completely limited. I did not get a hope that I would be in class with my colleagues. I was no more thinking of staying in class, all my secret was to disappear without telling any of my relatives my whereabouts. When I came to your office last Friday and you told me that you are going to be responsible for my school fees so I should return to the class, at first I thought I was dreaming but later I realsisd that I was not a dream. I have therefore mark this day to be one of the happy memorable days in my life.
Please Father as you have now com to my aid, I will try all my possible best to study hard. I thank you for your love. Please remember me in prayer. Hoping to meet you again, Goodbye.
Yours sincerely
Crispin Venkuo
Dear Madam,
I am Asare Clement a young boy of twenty-two years old who attended his secondary school at Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region. We are a family of five, my father , three brothers and a sister. My mother passed away as far as the 2004 when I was still in juniors secondary school preparing to write my Basic Education certificate Examination (BECE).
Currently, we are under the care of our elder brother who really finds it very difficult to take care of us because he does not get job to carter for us.
Glory be to God I came into contact with one Rev. father Chuks who said with some help from his friend will help me continue my education. I became so delighted when he told me that great news. Madam, as I ma writing to you, I am still with joy that through the priest you are helping me continue my education.
To sum it up I say I appreciate all the wonderful offers you are giving to me through the help of the priest. I say may God richly bless you and every thing that you will do on this planet earth.
I do appreciate your support
Thank you
Clement Asare.
Dear Madam
Lawrencia Twenewaa is my name. I am a pretty lady of twenty-four years old. I am now in the secondary school. I have interest in schooling but because I come from poor family I have spend so many years in school not because I can not put efforts to my studies but because my parents can not afford my school fees and many other things in association. Thanks to God that I met Father Chuks and shared explained my problems to him. He assured me of what he can do for me, when he contacts his friends. God being so merciful touched your heart to he; me. Now I am in the classroom with my friends doing my studies seriously.
Thank you for your concern and your assistance I am grateful to you that you have helped me go back to the classroom again.
Once again I say “Ayikoo†in our language which means well done for your concern.
God bless you
Thank you.
I appreciate your efforts and I will never let you down. I promise.
